Working more sustainably

We support the responsible use of natural resources and are committed to monitoring and reducing our greenhouse gas emissions and waste. We believe that managing environmental, climate change, and supply chain-related impacts, risks and opportunities pertinent to Workhuman creates value for our business and stakeholders alike.

Our data and science-driven approach

Through the Science Based Targets initiative, we’ve committed to setting a near-term, company-wide greenhouse gas emissions reduction target that will guide our carbon reduction strategy. We measure our impacts and benchmark our progress through an annual greenhouse gas inventory and participate in surveys and benchmarking tools like CDP and EcoVadis. We believe in transparency and partnership, and our dedicated Sustainability and ESG Reporting team works closely with our customers to support their unique reporting needs and commitments.

A company-wide commitment

Workhuman’s commitment to responsible business and expectations for the business and partners are outlined in both our Employee and Supplier Code of Conducts. Our employees, including our ‘LiveGreen’ interest group, play an important role in carrying out our commitments in our offices and daily activities.

Lifting our communities

We believe in helping create a more equitable world where everyone has an opportunity to succeed and that starts with the communities around us.

Engaging employees

We support a variety of organizations close to our hearts including those local to our offices and events, through financial contributions, equipment donations, and employee drives in partnership with our Employee Resource Groups. This includes Temple Street Children’s Hospital, Children’s Health Foundation Crumlin, Saoirse Women’s Refuge, Irish Heart Foundation, the Trevor Project, Shout Out LGBTQ+ Youth, DCF/Framingham, Jane Doe, Scoil Mhuire, Daniels Table, MetroWest YMCA, and more. Through “Workhuman Gives,” every employee is granted one day of paid service each year to volunteer with a local organization of their choice.

Enabling customers

Through our platforms and partnerships with Benevity and Global Giving, our user base of 7 million across 180 countries can use their rewards to make a donation – choosing from more than 100,000 charities worldwide.

Living diversity, equity, and inclusion

At Workhuman, we believe that a truly diverse workplace is one where every employee can thrive from experiencing a sense of inclusion and belonging, and where the strength of collective differences and perspectives creates unstoppable teams that drive business goals and inspire social progress. With diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) as a core part of our connected global culture, we’re committed to being a champion for our people, customers, and partners through our pioneering product vision and our open-heart commitment to the diversity that is changing our world, our perspectives, and our future for the better. For us, DEI isn’t just a goal- it’s an ever-evolving journey.

Knowing our humans

We launched our first “Self-ID campaign” inviting employees to share more about who they are—across dimensions like gender identity, race/ethnicity, disability, and veteran status. This valuable data allows us to design programs that bolster belonging while shaping the future of inclusion at Workhuman.

Championing diversity

Our supplier diversity program continues to grow as we expand partnerships with underrepresented businesses, opening new doors to collaborate with diverse suppliers.

Strengthening our communities

Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) Women & Allies, Sparkle (LGBTQ+), and Parents at Workhuman are vital spaces for connection and growth at Workhuman.

Driving pay equity

In 2025, our annual pay analysis shows that while Workhuman continues to maintain pay equity—meaning employees performing similar work are paid fairly and consistently—our Irish gender pay gap increased by two percentage points compared to 2024. These results reinforce the importance of our ongoing work to advance equity across our organization, and we remain committed to strengthening the systems, structures, and practices that support long-term, sustainable progress.

Celebrating belonging

Guided by a diversity calendar shaped by our employees, we honor key cultural moments like Black History Month, Pride, International Women’s Day, Indigenous People’s Day and more each year. These important milestones encourage us to celebrate the richness of identities at Workhuman.
